EMBRACING MY STORY

“I am a firm believer that your story is that which you have to endure. Michelle Obama authored in Becoming, “Even when it’s not pretty or perfect. Even when it’s more real than you want it to be. Your story is what you have, what you will always have. It is something to own.” Nijla Mu’min, a writer and filmmaker, stated that she was really proud she stuck with her story. Often people are surprised that a person’s story is the one that will connect to a large audience, but we should always trust that instinct to tell our story.” (Remember me)
